It was blazingly hot when we started to hike, but as we ascended into the clouds, it became much cooler and windier.
Leaving reality behind.
Up to the Peak.
The peak. This is a shot of the end of the world. The wind was buffeting up here. The clouds rolled over us, pouring back down the way we came. They were so thick, we could see them wisping between us. It felt like there was a huge creature out there, you just couldn't see it. We sat down and ate a sandwich.
And then, amazingly, the clouds broke, and is it ever a long way straight down!
The lighter color ocean is hanauma bay.
