The Fellowship

This summer REU in Flagstaff had 9 students from all over the country, all of which are marvelous people whom I am glad to have met and become friends with. We spent almost every weekend traveling all over Arizona and into southern Utah to go hiking. We spent many week nights out on the flats looking at stars. Somewhere in the middle of the summer, a couple of them started calling us "The Fellowship," and came up with characters from the movie, 'The Lord of the Rings,' for us.
