StreamTeam!
The StreamTeam! collaboration was formed to bring together experts in observations (Marla Geha's group at Yale), data inference (David Hogg's group at NYU) and modeling (Kathryn Johnston's group at Columbia) to develop robust tools for the detection, analysis and interpretation of debris structures around our Galaxy and beyond.

The SMHASH Survey
A major road-block in understanding our Galaxy is in our ability to measure the distances to stars. This project is an international collaboration to use NASA's Spitzer satellite to survey a set of RR Lyrae stars spread around our Galaxy and in satellite galaxies in order to derive very precise distances to them.

- The proposal for this work was approved to collect data in Spitzer's Cycle 10
