José Manuel Zorrilla Matilla
I am a fifth year graduate student at the Columbia University department of Astronomy, working with Zoltán Haiman. My research focuses on using gravitational lensing to constrain cosmology. In particular, I am interested in extracting non-Gaussian information from weak lensing data through alternative observables to the power spectrum and machine learning algorithms. My work relies on ray-tracing cosmological simulations, some of which can be accessed at the Columbia Lensing group's site.
