Neutron Stars

• Physical properties and evolution of young neutron stars.
• Extremes of magnetic field strength in magnetars and anti-magnetars.
• Observations using Chandra, XMM-Newton, Swift, and Fermi.

Gamma-ray Sources

• Optical observations at MDM Observatory of compact binaries containing millisecond pulsars.
• Identification of TeV sources discovered by atmospheric Cerenkov telescopes H.E.S.S. and VERITAS.
• Pulsars and pulsar wind nebulae.

Active Galactic Nuclei

• Search for supermassive binary black holes.
