Research Interests

Hui Li is a Hubble fellow at the Columbia University, collaborating with Prof. Greg Bryan. Before joining Columbia, He was a postdoc at the MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research working with Prof. Mark Vogelsberger. He received his Ph.D. degree in the Astronomy Department, the University of Michigan in Dec. 2017, supervised by Prof. Oleg Y. Gnedin. Before coming to the US, he got his Master's and Bachelor's degree from Nanjing University, which provides the most prestigious astronomical program in China. His current research interests include the formation and evolution of galaxies and massive stars, the origin of globular clusters in different types of galaxies, stellar dynamics of globular clusters, cosmic ray acceleration and propagation around supernova remnants and pulsars in the Galaxy, etc.
